Meet Amy 🐾

The face behind The AL5 Dog Co.

Hi, I’m Amy - and I’m the person behind The AL5 Dog Co.

After spending years in the corporate world, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted a job that got me out of the office, out in the fresh air and doing something I genuinely love.

And what could be better than spending my days with dogs?

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them from the day I was born, so muddy paws, waggy tails and a dog happily following you around the house have always felt like home.

I don’t have a dog of my own just yet - although that’s definitely on the radar for the next year or two! In the meantime, I get my dog fix by looking after yours. 🐶

More than just a walk

For me, this isn’t about simply ticking a walk off the list.

It’s about getting to know each dog for who they are. The energetic ones who want to run, the sniffers who need to investigate absolutely everything, and the ones who’d happily spend the whole visit getting belly rubs.

I want every pup to have something to look forward to - whether that’s an adventure in the great outdoors or a quiet visit and some company at home.

And I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in safe, caring hands while you’re away.

Why The AL5 Dog Co. ?

I wanted to create a dog walking service that feels friendly, personal and local.

No big teams. No feeling like your dog is just another name on a spreadsheet. Just good walks, lots of fresh air and someone who genuinely cares about making your dog’s day a happy one.

So, whether your dog is a seasoned adventurer or prefers a gentle potter and a cuddle, I’d love to get to know them.
